Howdy all. Just a little update for you. It's taken a little longer than I
thought, but I've got the video filmed now, I just have to edit it and
package all the DVD's up and send em out. I'm going to be doing some
nice editing and interfacing with this DVD, and even some fun interactive
things too, like a interactive quiz about me...a dorky one of course... :)

Trailers will be coming in a day or so, and the video is going to be
wrapped up and ready to go within the week. Thanks for the patience.

If you have not pre-ordered the DVD you may do so at

www.mayesmusic.com

there will also be one or two up here at the olf for auction as well.

oh there may be a small bloopers section.. I held it together for the most
part, which is uncommon for me, but it'll have other fun bonus features,
plus groovy chapter markers and break-ups, and such....I've been
importing and looking at myself all day.. wish I could say I'm sick of it,
but by golly I'm a handsome devil.. haha.. kidding..I am sick of looking at
myself after the last 10 hours.... Trailer to come tonight...

John you missed a good blooper last night. I had my nephew over at the shop and was clamping a brace to a back while talking with him. I had just told him that I have to be carful to get the go-bar centered on the brace and make sure the bend of the bar is in line with the brace so the brace seats flat or the bar can slip out. Just then the first bar sprang out and popped me square in the mouth. My nephew looked at me with a sheepish grin and said "Like that?"

Ouch! A good reminder to make sure shop visitors are wearing safety glasses, too! We WERE wearing our safety glasses, weren't we?

John,
The wait better be worth it! There better be shots of you dancing and some scenes of your cute kids.

well then Stevie you destined to be disappointed...no dancing in this
one...I used up my two dance moves on older DVD's...

Too bad John, those are good dance moves. My kids aren't interested in building guitars, but they do like watching your DVDs.

I'm like 90% done with the editing of the main feature now. It's like 2
hours worth of video... I'm gonna finish up the thing tomorrow, and add
all the special features on the DVD and such too.... Thanks for the order
Jason, and everyone else!
